Embroidery Design Solutions provides branding for luxury markets (such as seats for Aston Martin) and digital designs to be embroidered onto corporate products.

It’s one of three associated businesses. Q&E specialises in surface decoration for a range of sectors, including fashion, aerospace and marine. Embellish is a more recent venture which sells high-end customised clothing, soft furnishings and other products directly to the public.

Smart logo design.

We were asked to create a set of new logos for the companies. The logos had to be clearly connected but capable of working independently. We devised a trio of logos, based on different types of sewing stitch to reflect the work of the businesses they were for. Each logo is unique, but they all feature two patterned concentric circles in red – fulfilling our brief to create a coherent and recognisable brand family.

Applying the brand.

Considering our nature of client’s core business, it was also important that the logos were suitable for embroidering. By basing the logos on stitching patterns, we ensured this was the case. While the designs are intricate, they remain clear and distinctive when applied to clothing or other items.
