Providing a whole new identity for The Camelot Network

A brand built on legend.

The Camelot Network is an influential collective of more than 150 independent consultants, with major expertise in the insurance industry.


Its name was carefully chosen. The network’s principles are akin to those of the Round Table in the legend of King Arthur. Equal partners are stronger together, committed to collaboration and are generous with their knowledge. Most importantly thought, they care passionately about making a positive difference.


Brand development for The Camelot Network.

Making a positive difference was our inspiration when The New Fat began developing a new brand for Camelot. Our fresh logo design features a circle to signify the idea of a round table. Characters based on speech bubbles acting as a metaphor for people within the network and the discussions that take place.


Visual brand identity.

We then created a full and coherent visual identity for Camelot by applying the new brand to all the other materials they need as a business:


  • A versatile slide deck for presentations, with a fully editable PowerPoint template. As weak as a selection of slide layouts, images that can be updated and moveable graphic elements.
  • Associated corporate brand stationery design.Including business cards and branded templates for letters and compliment slips.
  • A simple text-based marketing leaflet. Designed to ensure that it is instantly recognisable as part of the new Camelot brand we established with the logo and other elements.

Brand guidelines.

Brand guidelines, bringing together all the new design elements into a handy document to help with consistency across marketing materials. Including comprehensive details on logo usage, colours, fonts and layout examples.


At the same time, we worked closely with The Camelot Network to reflect the written elements of their brand. This is covered in our brand guidelines by a section on language and tone of voice. It also informed the copy for a new website we developed for Camelot.
